Everyone- I just LOVE my 2019 couples! Carrie and Will are getting married at The Blackwell next year! I know their day will be perfect because they have the best wedding coordinator there, Jaime (Morphy) Butcher! I had SO much fun with them at their engagement session! Will never stops smiling…especially when I asked him to look at Carrie! They are so fun-loving, relaxing and just a down to earth couple! Carrie did an amazing job with outfit coordination! She had a beautiful blush pink blouse (bonus points…my favorite color too!) patterned with white and blue flowers. She perfectly paired that with Will’s solid blue dress shirt!
Now that we’ve established how great they are as a couple…let’s talk about their proposal! I love getting to know my couples and hearing how they met, what their first date was like, their wedding details and the proposal details!! Every story is SO unique. First of all, Will gets an A+…he has amazing ring selection skills! Just look below…because any words I write wouldn’t do it justice!
Will proposed by re-creating their first date, a dinner at Cap City Diner in Grandview! It was in mid-December, around the holidays, which gave Will the idea to make a collage taking her through the ’12 moments of us’ … which consisted of trips, events and special times they’ve shared over their 3 1/2 years together! I just thought that was the sweetest! And it has stuck in my head ever since they told me at our initial meeting!
