The weather in Ohio has certainly been all over the place the last few weeks! Once we finally had a beautiful evening, I headed down to Goodale Park to catch the beautiful blooms with Maggie and Eric! They bloom every year in April! And we caught it just in time for their downtown Columbus engagement session! The park was full of blooms so I was in photographer’s heaven! After the park we headed to the McPherson Commons across from Nationwide Arena! This is a special place to Maggie and Eric because the play kickball here in the summers! The Union Station Arch is a historic piece of architecture so naturally it made the perfect backdrop!
My favorite part of their story is Eric’s proposal to Maggie!! Eric proposed in June on the 50th-yard line of the Ohio Stadium! According to her, he planned it for months and her family had her believing that they were headed to OSU for family photos! Her sister walked her in to the stadium to meet the “photographer”. As she made her way into the stadium, Eric came out from the other end of the field and met her with flowers and the most beautiful ring. She told me that he made all of her dreams come true. Isn’t that the sweetest?!
Eric and Maggie were good friends in high school and started dating from their senior year!! And they’ve been together ever since. They are an active couple and play in a kickball league in the summer and also like to roller blade, golf, and play tennis. Maggie and Eric will marry this summer at Tartan Fields Golf Club! And I can’t wait to capture their special memories!!
Enjoy a few of my favorites! Such gorgeous blooms at Goodale Park and The Union Station Arch is so classy!
