I couldn’t have been happier to be a part of Kasi and Chris’s Wedding at The Brookshire in Delaware, Ohio! I can tell their wedding will always remain at the top of my favorites list! Kasi and Chris were my ideal couple in every way! Kasi defines the meaning of classy and elegant bride! Every part of her day was beautiful…from her hair style to her dress selection to her veil and all of her details! Chris is just as amazing as Kasi. He was so fun and I think it was the hardest I have ever laughed during getting ready photos. During the ceremony, it was easy to see how much he adores Kasi.
Though we had rain during the pre-ceremony portrait time– mother nature brought us the most gorgeous sunset! And I was in photographer’s heaven in the glowy golden sunset light! Where I could work my magic in the open field! Kasi and Chris were just so happy, laid back and relaxed…I could ask them to try any pose and they just had so much fun with it and it shows in their images! They even twirled for me in the field when I asked! I’ve never had so much fun photographing a couple at sunset!
After their engagement session, where we got to know each other better, I was filled with so much excitement for their day at The Brookshire! They just both have the best personalities! They are just a joy to be around!
One of my favorite things about Kasi and Chris is the story of how they were brought together!!
Kasi & Chris met at a music camp when they were both just in high school! Years passed by but one day, Chris was working at a music festival. He went to grab a Diet Coke but…luckily they were out. As fate would have it, next he pulled out a regular coke. Little did he know, this would change his life forever. The one he pulled out said “Share a coke with Kasi”! YES!! Spelled “KASI”! Isn’t that amazing??
Chris sent Kasi a photo of it…and luckily she says she still had the same phone number after years passed! Kasi immediately called him back. And the rest is history!! I still got the chills when their pastor told this story during their ceremony because I love hearing it! Since Coke played such a critical role in uniting these two together, Kasi made sure to incorporate this into their wedding day! Please enjoy some of my favorite memories from their day!
