Mother nature certainly had a hand in Lauren & Isaiah’s lovely Family Farm Wedding in Ohio! The forecast wasn’t looking too good! But we all hoped for the best! The day started off with some getting ready photos of Lauren and her bridesmaids at her parent’s home. At that time, it was as sunny as could be!
Next I headed to Isaiah’s family farm where the ceremony and reception would take place. There was lots of wide space filled with beautiful greenery! Isaiah’s family created an arch just for their ceremony! It was beautiful! Isaiah’s family was so welcoming to everyone. All guests arrived and we had completed a first look between Lauren & Isaiah! It melted my heart to see Isaiah’s iconic big, happy smile when he saw Lauren! It was SO sunny and very hot! Can I also take a minute to say…how excited I was about Lauren’s selection on bridesmaid dress colors?! You all know how much I love pink! It made me extra excited for their bridal party portraits!
We proceded to the outdoor ceremony space and the guests had all arrived at Isaiah’s family farm! The ceremony was short and sweet! The first kiss was so sweet…we could all tell how happy Lauren & Isaiah were to be officially married!! All of a sudden during the family photos the sky darkened and a bad storm had arrived. We were all in the reception tent and the sky was so black it looked like it was night time already! Before I knew it the tent had flooded with water! We all stayed focused on moving forward with the reception events! I’m sure it is something they will talk about for years to come! Everyone stayed so calm! You know the saying, rain on a wedding day is good luck! I hope that’s true because if so, Lauren & Isaiah will have a ton of good luck!
All of a sudden, I looked out from the reception tent and noticed the prettiest light! I immediately asked Lauren and Isaiah if they were interested in some sunset shots! Though it was so wet, it was totally worth it! The evening ended with the prettiest orange glow from a beautiful Ohio sunset! Enjoy some of my favorites! If you scroll to the end there is a lovely surprise! How does the saying go? There is always gold at the end of a rainbow!
These photos are so lovely! Thanks so much Belinda for capturing all of the joy of the day!!
Mrs. Askew, thank you for the kind words! It was a joy to be a part of your daughter’s day! Wishing them many blessings!
