This past weekend I was honored to capture Erin & Jacob’s wedding celebration at The Estate at New Albany! It is a new venue located in the heart of New Albany! They had a very hot but lovely sunny day! Their ceremony was very touching and the unity candles were a special part of their celebration. And their reception was just full of excitement! One of the most exciting parts was the amazing live jazz band that Erin & Jacob selected! I really enjoyed listening to the music! And also using the band as a lovely backdrop as Erin & Jacob had their first dance! I am sure the live jazz band was a unique experience for the guests as well! A beautiful serenade to the bride also took place at the reception!
Erin & Jacob met as tour guides at their alma mater, BGSU. Despite the fact we were in the same degree program (even in the same choir at one point!) they didn’t get to know each other until they were placed on the same shift together every Friday. When you meet the two of them, one of the things you can recognize right away is their huge passion for the university and their shared love of fitness. They are both enjoy working out through Crossfit!
When I chatted with Erin for the first time, one of the things I remember from our conversation was Erin telling me how even before they started dating, they both shared a dream that they would have a jazz band at their wedding! This was one of their first priorities when they started wedding planning. They shared their first dance to music by a live jazz band and it really set the mood for an evening full of light-hearted fun and celebration! I welcome you to enjoy a few of my favorites!
