While I don’t always have the time to blog every engagement session…I thought it would be fun to share this one from Genoa Park! We went back to where it all began! Genoa Park is the exact location where Josh proposed to Kortney! She had told Josh about six months before he proposed that when she was younger, she had a vision that her proposal would be during a picnic while biting into a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! But she didn’t think anything like that would actually happen in real life. Little did she know- one day when they went to COSI to pick up tickets…that he would take a little detour. I am happy for Josh that she followed! Because he had a picnic basket waiting alongside the river! Once they arrived at the basket, he handed her a note and got down on one knee! They celebrated by eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches along with another little surprise of having her parents there to share in the happiness of her big moment!
Kortney and Josh are one of my favorite 2019 couples! (and not just because they gifted me with a marshmallow dream bar from Starbucks at the session…but that definitely helps! haha!) But I am genuinely so excited for Kortney and Josh’s Jorgensen Farms wedding next year!! I can just tell that Josh and Kortney are a true case of love! They radiate that special feeling of love for each other! From the moment I met them for coffee…I felt like we could have chatted all night! Exactly how friends would! The more I get to know Kortney and her same love of Starbucks, blush pinks, NYC, shopping and more…I think we are like BFF’s in the making- which excites me even more for wedding day!!
Our session was so fun! But I’m not sure which was more fun…the pink sunset from mother nature or the guy doing hip hop yoga behind Kortney and Josh during the session! Here are a few of my many favorites! And I can’t wait until wedding day!!
Truly a “match” made in Heaven. May God Bless them as they start their journey together, with HIM, as ONE..
